Buying a xbox 360
Little over 2 years ago the original xbox was replaced by the xbox 360. In comparison to the old console there are many improvements. First take a look at the design, the old console was huge, black and green with enormous controllers, where xbox 360 is smaller and better looking and the controllers is really good and the buttons is better placed, and ofcause not having a wire is a nice improvement. The grafics is of cause alot better, anything else would be strange, but it's the many new things the console can do thats really impressive.
If you have a media center pc you can use the xbox 360 as a extender, making it posible to stream video, pictures, music and television to your living room. Most of the time this works great, but the xbox 360 have to be on your local network. If you don't have a media center pc you instead can stream video, music, and pictures using the media player in windows, and with a recent update to the xbox 360 it's now posible to stream divX videos. This makes the xbox 360 a great console to stream all you content from your pc til the living room.
Having said that it's of cause the games that is most importent seeing as it's a console. Again you won't be disappointed. The xbox 360 is now a little over 2 years old, a because of this, there are a lot of games out to very little money. There is also the xbox arcade games, these games are small and very funny arcade titles like Bomberman, Worms and around 50 more titles. With a recent update it's also posible now to download old xbox games like Crash bandicote.
When considering buying a console, there are a lot of choices. Today you also have the Playstation 2 and 3 and Nintendo Wii. I can't help you with what console to buy, because it all depends on what you want. Do you want to be able to stream all kinds of content to your console choose the xbox, want a blu-ray player go with the Playstation 3, and not all games comes to both consoles so again go with the console having the best games for you.
